Shoals Ambulance is dedicated to providing outstanding emergency 911 and non-emergency ambulance services the city of Bessemer and Jefferson County. We specialize in the highest level of comfort and patient safety, with highly trained, licensed EMTs and paramedics who are experienced in pre-hospital medical care. We are a proud to be the first member of the Priority Ambulance national family of companies.

Founded by CEO Bryan Gibson, Shoals Ambulance is committed to the highest-quality EMS care in the state of Alabama. - 2015
Shoals Ambulance begins providing 911 emergency ambulance services in the City of Bessemer. - 2016
Lauderdale County Commission unanimously approves new contract with Shoals Ambulance to continue providing exclusive non-emergency and emergency 911 ambulance services. - 2019
Shoals Ambulance expands to Shelby County, providing non-emergency services to hospitals and health-care facilities throughout the county. - TODAY
Shoals Ambulance has more than 200 EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers & support staff serving more than 7,500 patients each year with 20 ambulances and emergency vehicles.

Throughout its national service area, approximately 4,100 highly trained paramedics and EMTs staff a fleet of 830 state-of-the-art ambulances and support vehicles with the latest medical equipment and technology.
