As Vice President of Operations, Joshua Binkley oversees all operational and new business development opportunities for Shoals Ambulance, including 9-1-1 emergency and non-emergency ambulance services in Jefferson County and the City of Bessemer.

Binkley has more than 15 years of experience in emergency medical services, including numerous leadership positions. With a wealth of experience and a strong history in operational leadership, Binkley brings unique skills and expertise to Shoals Ambulance to help support the company’s growth and success.

Prior to joining the Shoals Ambulance team, Binkley was the Operations Manager for Genesis Community Ambulance Service in Zanesville, OH. During his tenure, he made significant strides in reducing the vacancy rate from 42% to less than 5% within two years. His initiatives led to a substantial financial impact, generating over $1 million in savings and additional revenue and improved response times and patient outcomes. His servant leadership style fostered a positive and collaborative team environment.

Additionally, Binkley holds a Master of Science in Homeland Security—Disaster & Emergency Preparedness from Trident University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management from Muskingum University.
