Lauderdale County approves emergency 911 contract with Shoals Ambulance

The Lauderdale County Commission voted April 12 to approve the contract with incumbent provider Shoals Ambulance to provide exclusive non-emergency and emergency 911 ambulance services for the next three years. The Florence City Council already had approved the joint contract on April 5.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY UNANIMOUSLY RENEWS SHOALS AMBULANCE CONTRACT

The Lauderdale County Commission voted unanimously on April 14 to renew the emergency ambulance services contract with Shoals Ambulance for an additional year, effective May 1. The Florence City Council already had approved the joint contract renewal on March 16.

SHOALS AMBULANCE TO RESPOND TO 911 CALLS IN BESSEMER

The City of Bessemer Fire Department has two new ambulance companies located in The City of Bessemer that will begin responding to emergency 911 calls within the city limits, including Bessemer-based Shoals Ambulance.

FRANKLIN COUNTY CONTRACTS WITH SHOALS AMBULANCE

The Franklin County Commission has entered into a contractual agreement with Shoals Ambulance to be the exclusive emergency and nonemergency ambulance service provider within the county with the exception of the Town of Phil Campbell, which will continue to be served by the Phil Campbell rescue squad.

FRANKLIN COUNTY EMS COMMITTEE RECOMMENDS SHOALS AMBULANCE AS AMBULANCE SERVICE PROVIDER

Franklin County EMS Committee today announced that it has recommended Shoals Ambulance to County Commission as the preferred provider of emergency and nonemergency ambulance service to Franklin County residents. At no cost to taxpayers, Shoals Ambulance will provide consistent service across the county with the exception of Phil Campbell, which will continue to be served by the Phil Campbell Rescue Squad.
